Business Development Executives (Abu Dhabi/Al Ain Region) role is measured by compliance with Company, Department Procedure, Documentation and level of sustained and new business.
- Lead generation and management
- Account retention
- Account structured servicing
- New market penetration
- Key account management (minimum 20 accounts)
- Financial / Revenue yield
- Number of accounts held/added in portfolio
- Value/ profitability of events secured
- Event reporting before, during and post event
- Effective relationship with guests

- Follow company policies and procedures and business ethic codes

JOB PURPOSE
- Perform lead generation and coordinate activities of OSE in order to achieve and exceed the budgeted events and revenues of Outside Catering/Event Services
- Support OSC/ES and ensure retention of current business and generate of new business.
- Develop a sound understanding of Business needs (ie services portfolio, sales targets, markets and audiences), communication strategies and tactical activity plans to support the commercial objectives with a focus on Abu Dhabi/Al Ain market segment.
- Competition bench marking, client relationship management needs to be done as per set deadlines along with analytical report presented to Director Commercial Hospitality Services
- Selected large events documentation.
- Provide Director Commercial Hospitality Services proposal for business enhancement and retention
- Maintain all customer data
- Explore and provide show based data from website for target selling and offering product and services in line with show in Abu Dhabi /Al Ain.
- Conduct prospect research and qualification
- Confidentiality and business image.

Accountabilities
- Maintain a warm, professional and regular relationship with clients to ensure high standard of service.
- Maintain effective communication on the activities of the Department with other operating departments within Dubai World Trade Centre in order to provide best possible service to clients.
- Display a fair, professional and unbiased approach in all interactions.
- Follow DWTC policies and procedures.
- Continually seek opportunities to develop self.
- Perform duties in line with the Quality standards, and applicable Legislation.
- Perform Business Development function to achieve and exceed KPI/Revenue targets.
- Ensure an optimum yield from event through planned and focused coordination.
- Manage timely execution of events.
- Continuously research current competition trends.
- Keep outstanding payments to minimum levels.
- Provide line manager with feedback on market scenario and competitive analysis, on continuous basis.
- Produce sales/marketing related financial report as per guidelines set by Department Head
- Monitor adherence and compliance to DWTC policies, procedures and guidelines for all marketing activities within Hospitality services
- Maintain a warm and professional relationship with guests/ customers/ suppliers/ contractors within DWTC to ensure a prompt and high standard of service
- Client relationship management to be carried out through periodic mails, corporate give away and data management of top spenders including post event greetings and thanks.
- Carry out any other job assigned by Director Commercial

Requirements

- Degree /diploma preferably in Hotel Management
- Proficiency using Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- 2+ years prior work experience in Sales, Business Development or related positions
- Preferably Male, Arabic Speaker/Arab Nationality
- With valid UAE driver's license
