COMPANY
Our client is launching a world class digital content subscription service that will allow subscribers to have access to a complete set of digital entertainment/content archive from their mobile phones and their PC’s. The subscription services will encompass the following: Simple SMS Entertainment services (horoscope, etc) , MonoPoly Ringtones, Logos & Wall-papers, Animations, Themes, Real Music, Games and Video for the Mobile and Fulltrack Music, TV-Series, Games, Audio Books and Blockbuster Movies for the PC.

The launch territories are Middle East, Africa, Pakistan, Bangladesh and India; other territories in Asia are likely to follow.

REASONS FOR VACANCY
New Position, as the Company is entering a new territory

OBJECTIVES OF THE JOB
Lead the organization in the field of ad-supported content, digital advertising and the company’s mobile ad strategy, to successfully fulfill the objectives, also given the dramatically changed value added services industry in the telecom sectors.

The position will be backed up by the contacts and experience the Company already has and the excellent reputation the company has in the market.

MAIN TASKS
Develop the strategies and plans required to sell the products and services related to the contents, the digital advertising and the mobile ads
Develop a marketing package of the company’s online, mobile and off-line advertising inventory
Present this package to key media buyers in Middle East, South Africa and India
Roll out the multi million dollar “comes with music” bundling and marketing strategies to handset manufacturers, mobile operators and fast moving consumer goods companies
Gather the relevant information on market and customer trends, developments and innovations, to allow the company teams to timely foresee and develop appropriate interesting products and services and/or adapt contents
Develop and manage the relationships with the business partners interested in – or relevant for - the ad-supported content, digital advertising and other product and services offered, including
Handset manufacturers, mobile operators, fast moving consumer goods companies companies offering PC communication services, companies integrating or converging different communication industries
Media planners, media buyers, advertising agencies and large organizations for whom the candidate will be able to build a new digital media branding and advertising strategy
Other relevant business partners, industry multipliers and institutions.

POSITION WITHIN THE COMPANY HIERARCHY
Reporting to the General Manager

TRAVELING
Extensive traveling will be required

CONDITIONS
Yearly income will be liberal and competitive and will depend on the experience of the candidate.

EDUCATION
University Degree in Marketing / Sales and / or Media Communications or equivalent

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
Proven track record in successful media sales in the online and off line worlds, including
Identifying, qualifying, negotiating and closing new business opportunities
Devising creative and profitable deals, especially bundled offerings
Identifying, developing and introducing appropriate marketing activities to increase the business (“Out-think and out-execute the competition”)
A strong record selling to the top executives of the customers
Successfully communicating internally, giving market feedback and contributing to product and service development

SPECIAL SKILLS
Able to monetize the eyeballs and users the company has on its digital entertainment portals
Understand the digital content and advertising value chains
Have a large network of media planners, media buyers, advertising agencies and large organizations for whom the candidate will be able to build a new digital media branding and advertising strategy
Must have experience in the emerging markets

IDEAL BACKGROUND
Background in Ad sales, developing brand and media strategies for large corporations as well as voucher and CRM programs

LANGUAGES
English - fluent
Arabic - advantageous
