Job description / Role
Our client, one of the leading distributors of action sports brands and products across the UAE is rapidly expanding their team and are looking for experienced Business Development Executives to join them in bringing their business to the next level. The team have extensive knowledge and experience and are pioneers in their industry, passionate, sports enthusiasts preferred.
The role of BDE is a comprehensive one with a number of responsibilities including:
- Obtaining new orders and establishing new accounts
- Preparing and adjusting sales presentations by researching the type of outlet/venue
- Submit orders according to price lists and product literature
- Keep management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans and monthly and annual territory analyses
- Monitor competition by gathering current marketplace information on products and pricing
- Recommend changes in products/services
- Resolve customer complaints by investigating problems, developing solutions and making recommendations to management
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge by establishing professional networks, keeping up to date with new product releases/announcements
- Contributes to team efforts
Requirements
- At least 3-5 years of work experience in Sales in a similar field
- Strong character
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- A passion for outdoor/adventure sports
- Regional understanding and knowledge
- Strong customer service and management skills
- Motivation for sales
