Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Our client are a Government body based in Dubai with a focus on commodities.

As part of the new business team, this position supports the sales team and focuses on the increased and enhanced development of relationships and user training for financiers, warehouse companies and commodity traders in order to encourage use of the company platform. The aim of this is to develop direct revenue for the organisation.

They are looking for a candidate with a keen interest in commodities and structured trade finance who is willing to learn and develop. You aren't expected to know anything about this field, just have a keen interest and be a quick learner.

Excellent presentation skills, an analytical mind and entrepreneurial attitude are key to succeeding in this role.

You will be responsible for commodities companies registration of goods, and will be able to transfer ownership between companies in a legal and Sharia compliant manner.

Responsible for potential, current and new member demonstration, training and development to stimulate membership growth and transaction volume growth.

Create and maintain relationships with relevant stakeholders and company members.

Support sales team to actively develop user base. Increase reputation & knowledge of the company and its products and services to potential and existing customers.

Produce sales content, presentation material, case studies and other material to support marketing efforts of the team.

Other applicable administration and departmental operational support as required.

Requirements

Bachelor Degree Qualified.

Background in Business Development and/or sales.

An understanding of financial services/stocks and trades would be an advantage.

A creative, energetic nature with a pleasant personality whom people warm to.
