Business Development Executive

Job description / Role

- Carry out market research through industry contacts, publications, trade events, news to identify ideas for growth
- Responsible for identifying opportunities, evaluating its fit with the company vision, negotiating and closing deals.
- Reach out directly or through partners to target prospective business deals
- Filter out high potential deals by analyzing business strategies, opportunity requirements / pre-requisites / financials, and internal priorities
- Design the best negotiating strategies by considering the risks and rewards, and keeping in mind the counter-parties preferences & goals
- Lead the negotiation to close the deal and draw in resources from within the company to make it happen
- Manage all contractual requirements and align the end result with the companys internal operations and capabilities
- Constantly keep upgrading your business development techniques, and help in enhancing the company knowledge base by participating in training and educational initiatives
- Help in building the brand of the company in the industry and customer community
- Reporting to: Chief Executive Officer (CEO)

Requirements

- Experience in Logistic Services (Warehousing and Distribution)
- Willingness to discover and develop.
- Friendly, polite and tactful attitude.
- Excellent communication and good presentation skills.
- Ability to cope up with multiple projects and deadlines.
- Ability to motivate and energize the fellow team members.
- Ability to tackle with diverse customers.
- Advanced word processing, spreadsheet, presentation and database software.
- Specialized software related to functional area.
- Write Concise technical reports.
- Take meeting minutes.
- Proficient in performing inspections and tests.
- Communicate clearly and concisely.
- Communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
- Establish and maintain cooperative working relationships.
- Manager multiple concurrent tasks.
- Interpret contract specifications/requirements.
- Perform precise inspections and tests.
