Business Development Executive - Dubai

An established, global law firm is seeking a Business Development Executive to join the Middle East team. Reporting to the Business Development Manager, this individual will provide support on day to day and strategic marketing and business development activity for the practice including credentials, pitches, events, online content, publications, business planning, budgets and presentations.

Key Responsibilities

Winning work
* Assist on strategic pitches and provide assistance on international pitches.
* Generate the first draft of bids where required involving drafting and editing text where necessary and ensuring adherence to visual identity and practice identity.
* Provide direction to fee earners to find information for regional pitches.
* Ensure that all deal information and bid information is updated and available to the practice.

Marketing and Business Development
* Assist with the development and execution of BD initiatives to target opportunities in specific work areas and sectors.
* Responsible for monitoring BD budgets, event management and delivery.
* Monitor strategic actions agreed in plans and project meetings and help fee earners meet their commitments.

Client Development
* Coordinate and prepare for meetings and presentations. This includes providing billing and activity reports, keeping records of follow up actions, maintaining feedback, ROI, overseeing interaction maintenance and reviewing data.
* Conduct sector or organisation search

Business Development Systems
* Coordinate contributions and input into business development systems including CRM.
* Integrate use of systems into all activity according to best practice and assist fee earners and their secretaries with contact management.

Corporate Communications
* Use internal communications channels to raise awareness of BD initiatives and opportunities.
* Co-ordinate with fee earners on the development and publicising of client updates and articles.
* Ensure marketing collateral is compliant with visual identity guidelines, working in conjunction with central E-media and Brand and Design teams.
* Prepare and coordinate content and update intranet and internet webpages for the Middle East Practice.

Requirements

* Graduate calibre (Marketing/Communications preferred)
* Significant relevant marketing and organisational experience within the following industry sectors; legal, professional services, management consultancy, engineering, and accounting.
* Sound working knowledge of CRM systems and Microsoft systems.
* Ability to build trust amongst fee earning team and wider stakeholder community.
* Good attention to detail with strong communication skills.
