The Role


The Role


Our client is seeking a Business Development Expert, located in Doha Qatar reporting directly to the Director, Business Development to further develop their capabilities. This position will be responsible for creating Business Development strategy, identifying, qualifying, and pursuing large opportunities. This position will need to bring existing customer relationships while developing and maintaining strong business relationships with key decision makers in the market identify and qualify business opportunities.

• Customer relationships
• Industry relationships
• Develop effective win strategies which include identifying and qualifying new opportunities
• Maintain a pipeline of qualified opportunities
• Conduct competitive analysis

“Experience within the government / public sector will be preferred”

Shortlisted candidates will be briefed on details of the position as well as the sector.

Skills

- 10+ years experience in business development
- Fluent in English & Arabic.
- Post Graduate. MBA a strong plus.
- A solid understanding of the Middle East market (good existing contacts and network).
- Experience in all phases of the partnership cycle, from identification of relevant targets to term sheet negotiation and contracting

- Self-starter with strong sense of initiative and a bias towards action.
- Strong negotiation, problem-solving, and deal structuring skills.
- Financial modeling skills and comfortable with numbers.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Excellent customer relationship and interpersonal skills.
