The Role


The Role


A new company within the Al Futtaim group entitled Al Futtaim Vehicle Rentals LLC is being set up in Qatar to manage the rental of vehicles & the provision of driven services. This operation will be based in Doha with local management working in tandem with management & operational support provided by Al Futtaim Group UAE. As Business Development Manager your primary responsibilities will include, but not be restricted to:

* Maximise all lease and car rental opportunities to bring profitable corporate business for AVR
* Plan, allocate and monitor own sales strategies, targets and sales performance so that profitability, growth and revenue targets are met or exceeded
* Build strong and effective account management relationships with all customers
* Win new customers from building own prospect base
* Develop customer relationships to enhance profit levels and penetration of services
* Plan and implement sales/customer retention and relationship development
* Contribute to formulation of policy and strategy within the sales and marketing function
* Maintain administration and relevant reporting and planning systems
* Work closely with accounts and collections team to ensure debts are minimised
* Maintain and develop corporate image and reputation, whilst protecting and developing the company's brands via suitable PR activities and own presentation

* Deliver against all sales revenue and profit targets for lease and rental products
* Build awareness of AVR within local corporate community
* Become actively integrated with key local networking groups
* Build high levels of customer satisfaction
Reporting into the Sales and Marketing Manager, you will be able to provide demonstrable experience of the following:

* Clear evidence of sales achievements
* Excellent networking skills
* Have advanced Business to Business consultative sales skills
* Previous exposure to high profile or blue chip organisations
* Evidence of sales through multi-level decision makers
* Experience of tenders and or winning complex new business deals
* Leadership qualities with the ability to drive through complex solutions
* Planning, organising and ability to balance multiple demands
* Team player with evidence of building cross business support
* Target oriented and driven to exceed demanding challenges
* Market awareness and understanding of the challenges of customers and competitors

You will also have the following:

* Strong English communication skills; reading, writing and speaking
* Educated to degree or equivalent level
* Strong Sales and Business Development background, ideally coming from a blue-chip organisation
