Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Identifying prospective customers within Target Customer Segments by mapping the customer segment, understanding the needs & requirements of the segment.
Establish contact with prospective customers by making cold calls, references from own network, leads given by colleagues.
Meeting Customers current & prospective to understand their needs & requirements so as to qualify potential customers.
Build relationships with decision makers and their key influencers in current & potential customer organizations and interact with them on a regular basis to be aware of potential opportunities.
Generate leads through own network as well as by responding to Tenders / Enquiries floated in newspapers / Internet and other market mapping exercises.
Engage with customers who have an active requirement so as to understand their needs, specifications & requirement etc.
Obtain Project Specifications / Tender Documents etc so as to be able to prepare a proposal.
Ensure timely submission of Quotations / Proposals against enquiries by coordinating with other functions. Where possible provide value add to customer by offering better quality, lower cost, faster completion, better aesthetics etc.
Regularly engage with decision makers and their key influencers in customer organizations where proposals are submitted or are expected to be submitted to stay updated on the order status as well as influence them to place the order on.
Obtain complete & up to date information (including competitor information) in respect of projects which are in the pipeline so as to enable successful bidding for projects.
Coordinate with other functions within to facilitate negotiation of Project Terms & Scope with the client.
Follow up with the Customer to ensure release of Purchase Order.
Communicate Order status to other functions on a weekly basis.
Ensure Projects awarded are handed over to Projects Team on a timely basis.
Coordinate with Projects Team & Customer to ensure timely preparation and sign off on the Project Documents (such as Contract, Plan, Scope & Terms).
Coordinate with Projects Team & Customer to ensure timely delivery & installation as per Contract / Project Plan.
Interact regularly with the Client as well as on-site Project team to obtain feedback on progress, issues/concerns if any.
Work with functions within to share customer feedback and ensure timely resolution of issues/concerns .
Ensure timely Invoice Generation as per terms of Contract in consultation with Projects and Accounts/Finance.
Identify products that can bring regular revenue.
Identify New Markets for existing Products & Services.
Identify New Products for existing or new Customers & Markets.

Requirements

Graduate Engineer.
5 years+ in the Construction/Fabrication Industry.
Should have Ability to identify potential opportunities and convert them into prospective orders, pursue Sales Targets without giving up.
Must be familiar with the assigned territory, U.A.E. for at least 2-3 years.
Must possess a local Driving License.
Networking / Relationship building.
Engaging & influencing Customers.
Negotiation skills.
Good understanding of Projects in the Construction / Fabrication Industry.
Ideally should have worked hands on in the Projects Industry.
