The Role


The Role

A Leader in the fund management business in Oman has an excellent opportunity for a Business Development Manager-Asset Management sales to develop a highly lucrative career.

The division manages three mutual funds and also several discretionary portfolios investing across GCC and India.

Their clients include Pension Funds, High-net worth individuals, Regional institutions and International institutions.

The funds managed by the asset management division are one of the few funds in the GCC region that are rated.

The asset management division has ambitious plans to become the leading fund manager in the wider MENA region by 2011.

Job Purpose:

Sell Asset Management products
Marketing Funds and portfolio management services to institutions in the GCC and Europe.
Developing and maintaining client relationships.
Provide ideas for new product launches.
Extensive Travel

Requirements


Requirements

Experience Required

Must have a Professional degree in marketing or have a degree from a recognised university.
Minimum 6 to 8 years in similar role with experience of working with institutional clients in the GCC and Europe.
Experience in marketing the GCC funds / Emerging market funds would be an advantage.
Very good written communication skills and presentation skills, preferably bilingual in English and Arabic.
Proficient in the use of Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
