Business Development Manager Clinical Nutrition - Denmark

Business Development Manager with a mix of commercial and clinical experience is needed for a major global dairy business in Denmark.

The role of Business Development Manager for Clinical Nutrition is with Arla Food Ingredients, an independent company within the Arla Foods Group. They have the ambition to be a global leader in the value added whey business and are looking for someone who can boost international sales within the Nutrition business area. This role is part of the Health & Performance group specialising in clinical nutrition products.

You will be responsible for business development within clinical nutrition globally and work closely with Regional Sales Managers and Global Account Managers. You will maintain and extend the ingredients business through strong relationships and market knowledge. Your main responsibility will be to present products, communicate scientific evidence and support customers with your technical knowledge, driving business development projects. You will also have input into market-oriented product development.

The Business Development Manager is a key link between the customers, global sales force and company headquarters and will participate in product development and customer projects. You will gather relevant market information and develop sales material as well as support the development of the nutritional market segment and product strategies. With knowledge of the clinical world and understanding of the scientific developments of the AFI team you will find new opportunities and applications for the innovative products being created

Requirements

Requirements:

At a minimum you will have a Masters degree in Human Nutrition, Biomedicine, Biochemistry or similar and have previous experience in sales and marketing within the medical food or health care industry. You will also have project management skills and excellent verbal and written English.

This is a scientific area of the business which will require you to grasp complicated information and translate this into a market relevant concept. Working with colleagues at all levels within the organisation you will be comfortable in a multicultural environment with a desire to learn and share your knowledge. You will have the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and will be required to travel between 50 - 70 days per years.

Relocation to Aarhus in Denmark is a must for this role so please bear this in mind when applying.
