Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Generate leads and maximise existing Corporate Banking relationships to sell Commercial Payment Solution and input into existing and new product design to increase potential sales. Manage relationships with Commercial Payment Solution clients by maintaining service excellence with a customer-centric approach.

Main Tasks & Responsibilities
• Pursue existing clients in conjunction with Corporate Banking and generate leads for ‘new to bank’ customers.
• Deliver engaging sales pitches to senior level executives
• Tailor commercial payment solutions offering to meet individual customer and corporate needs and advise customers on product suitability.
• Manage entire sales cycle process, ensure regulatory requirements are met and handle all requisite paperwork for initial client on-boarding
• Manage commercial card client relationships and become point of contact for issue resolution
• Meet growth targets as agreed on commercial payment products measurable by key indicators such as - Cards in Force, enrolled companies and auxiliary services (SDG2, InControl etc)
• Liaise with payment schemes (Visa / MasterCard) to deliver best in class propositions for potential clients
• Work closely with Corporate Banking relationship managers to deliver excellent service to clients and leverage existing alliances for expansion of portfolio
• Cross functional focus with operations, servicing desks and product teams to ensure client requirements are met in a timely fashion
• Explore and exploit commercial card opportunities in order to ensure maximum exposure and opportunity for revenue generation for the bank

Requirements

Background Knowledge & Experience.

Minimum Education level required:
A University degree, preferably in a financial discipline.

Professional Qualifications:
A banking qualification would be an asset.

Work Experience:
At least 5 years in retail or corporate banking in a business development/relationship management role

Special Skills / Attributes required for the Job:
Excellent presentation and sales skills
Excellent interpersonal communication skills across all levels
Comprehensive knowledge of cards and payments business and market
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong ability to influence
