Our client, a UAE based retail company, is currently looking for a dynamic Business Development Manager – Distribution

Job Description

Our client requires a hungry business developer who will chase down leads and convert them quickly. This role focuses on driving new business to the Retail & Distribution aspects of the company. Salient features of the role are:

• To look for Business Partners in the GCC and MENA region to partner with in retail;

• To manage and improve the Franchise model of the company’s current line of Brands;

• To manage the online retail business;

• This role is predominantly Business to Business, with focus on looking for like-minded Business groups to grow the business in their country;

• Drive revenue growth through proactively converting potential business leads and ensuring growth in existing partnerships;

• Constructing and presenting client proposals, presentations and contract negotiations;

• Managing KPI's to ensure achievement of budgets;

Requirements

The Successful Applicant

• Should have at least 5 yrs of experience in a Retail company in the MENA region.

• Should have proven background in business to business management and Retail Distribution.

• Must have Retail based Online and marketing knowledge of the region.

• As an excellent communicator he/she should have the ability to build lasting relationships and develop quick rapport with a multitude of stakeholders within a variety of different businesses representatives.

• Have to be a result motivated individual, driven by exceeding targets and earning commissions.

• Superior time management and organisation skills are required.

• A current and valid Driver’s License is essential. Arabic speaking would be an advantage.
