Job description / Role
Our client is an American born electronics company. They have had operations worldwide for over 50 years and a presence in the Middle East for over 20 through their distribution partners. They are now in a period of growth to focus on penetrating the region further and are looking to hire a Business Development Manager - Electronics.
This is a newly created role and they are seeking a candidate with strong knowledge of the Saudi Arabian market. You will work alongside the distributor, directly with retailers and their own stores and with dealers to help drive sales and increase their locations and presence in the electronics market. You will manage budgets, working alongside teams in their regional head office in Dubai and carrying out marketing initiatives to aid promotions, keeping in line with competitors.
Requirements
The successful candidate should be a well-rounded individual with strength in both sales and marketing who has a proven success of managing a commercial business in Saudi Arabia. You should be a fluent Arabic speaker with knowledge and extensive experience in the consumer electronics field.
Contacts within specific electronic retailers and dealers in the region are also compulsory along with a track record of increasing sales and awareness of a product to the consumers.
Our client has also stated a preference for someone available at short notice and at the maximum, one months’ working notice. In return you will have the opportunity to work with a multinational organization that has a strong focus in the region, joining them during a period of growth.
