Employment: Full Time

An international corporation who specialise in audio equipment are seeking to recruit an experienced Business Development Manager to promote Engineered Sound Solutions within the Middle Eastern region. The successful candidate would be responsible for the sustainable market development of this channel through existing and new partners within the region.

Key Accountabilities:

Sales Strategy:
1. Market development through creating demand in the region.
2. Planning and forecasting of product sales.
3. Assist in launching and demonstrating new products whilst driving the sales of these products to meet assigned budgets.
4. Maintain regular reporting on results in territory to management.
5. Market intelligence and feedback on regular basis.

Sales Process:
1. Implement key strategic initiatives as directed by the business manager.
2. Select and develop business partners who operate within the engineered sound channel.
3. Develop and maintain solid relationships at all levels with selected partners.
4. Set annual goals for respective business partners and monitor performance accordingly.
5. Ensure that distribution is in line with the divisions strategy.
6. Develop a network of consultants who regularly specify the brands engineered sound.
7. Develop relationships with key influencers of specific vertical channels such as houses of worship and performing arts theatres.
8. Coordinate and schedule training for respective business partners teams along with training manager.
9. Collaborate with other team members as needed to ensure that divisional goals are met.
10. Attend key trade shows and customer meetings.

Requirements

The prospective candidate should be a motivated individual, with high levels of integrity and strong customer orientation.

Specific attributes include:

- Affinity for solution selling.
- Seasoned prospecting skills.
- Sales planning.
- Advanced knowledge of prospective market.

Experience in the professional audio industry is a must. Preference will be given to candidates who have experience in engineered sound sales. Excellent communication skills both verbal and written are required. Travel within the region will be required.
