The Role


Overview
A well-reputed, diversified business group with operations and interests across the GCC region is currently looking to recruit a capable Business Development Manager to lead sales activities, contract acquisition and stakeholder management across its expanding infrastructure and construction division.

Position Responsibilities
• Successfully identify new projects and participate in tender processes for key public and private projects.
• Develop and manage relationships with key industry stakeholders including but not limited to: architects, contractors, engineering consultants and JV partners. Manage sub contractors and vendors in line with project requirements.
• Negotiate and finalize deals and contracts in line with project requirements.
• Maintain strong working relationship with and actively coordinate with the project management team to ensure that project requirements are fulfilled.
• Provide management support to the Divisional Head and Project Managers as required

Key Requirements
• Engineering Degree (either Civil of Electrical) from a reputed institution.
• Significant work experience and demonstrated tenure with established organizations within the engineering and construction/infrastructure services sector.
• Demonstrated business development and stakeholder management (architects, engineering consultants and JV partners) experience.
• Experience of engaging in medium to large scale projects e.g. electrical transmission and distribution, construction of roads/buildings/flyovers, warehouses, factories, marine engineering projects and oil & gas engineering projects.
• Experience of working independently as well as part of a team so as to attain company and client objectives.
