The RoleThe RoleOur Client is an international supply chain services and solutions company. Their services include air and ocean freight forwarding, contract logistics, customs brokerage, distribution, inbound logistics, truckload brokerage and other supply chain management services, including consulting, the coordination of purchase orders and customized management services. Their global and diverse customer base ranges from large multinational enterprises to smaller local businesses and includes clients operating in industries with unique supply chain requirements such as the pharmaceutical, retail, apparel, chemical, automotive and technology industries. Key Accountabilities: To ensure the individual sales target is achieved To develop a sales pipeline with a minimum of 10 clients, which complies with the criteria and has the ability to be closed within respective timeline Sales focus to be In line with company guidelines. I.e. Strategic Engines and value added services Make a minimum of 15 sales visits per week. Ensure Operations are appraised of all new business acquisitions, and clients requirements are documented In Standard Operating Procedures, and approved by the Branch Manager prior to go live All rate proposals/offers to be approved by the Regional Sales Manager/Branch Manager Ensure all sales leads are followed up with in 7 working days and feedback submitted via The Sales Lead Programme Responsibilities: Based in Dubai, you will develop new business focusing on UK and European market Responsible for the development and acquisition of new business within the territory, and to cover in excess of 3.5 times all up costs. Contribute to the development of the UAE and a Middle East Business Development and sales strategy Develop approaches of entering into new industries within the region Assist in the building and energising of the Sales and Business Development capability across the region Build credible relationships with global customers Meet targeted levels of revenue/ margin growth |
RequirementsRequirementsRequirements: Degree qualified relating to Business / Marketing / International Trade or equivalent Proven selling skills for complex solutions in contract logistics and freight management Broad understanding of IT capabilities and emerging technologies Knowledge of contract logistics and freight management markets and operations Account managed and developed high level client relationships in blue chip organizations Preferably who have worked at least 2 years with recognized courier or freight forwarders in Dubai Preferably who are already settled in Dubai and have done hard core selling / cold calls in the Europe region |
