Business Development Manager - Freight Forwarding

Job description / Role

- Responsible of identifying and pursuing opportunities and new business opportunities as per Company's strategy.
- Secures new customers and business every month, ensuring a continuous growth in business on a monthly basis.
- Participates in all aspects of new client relations establishment, follow-up and account management
- Conducts portfolio analysis and competitor research and analysis
- Oversees and contributes to the development of a support system for preparation and assembly of logistics requirements
- Maintains market intelligence and research for upcoming opportunities, competitors, clients, shipping lines, investors, developers, market news, etc
- Develops marketing, public relations, Joint Ventures and pre-qualification plans and strategies
- Responsible for the Performance Management of all team members

Requirements

- Minimum 3 years experience in managing the start-to-end cycle of corporate sales assignments and BD functions within a Freight Forwarding company within the UAE.
- Should have experience in arranging sales pitch, meeting clients, drafting proposals, finalizing contracts, client presentations, managing negotiations, closing deals, etc.
