The Role


Our Client is a leading provider of diversified engineering services to the oil & gas sector, looking to appoint a Business Development Manager to identify and develop H2S operations in MENA region.
•Develop and implement annual business development plan
•Develop and implement strategies for new products and services
•Formulate sales strategies and develop relationships with existing and potential clients
•Achieve sales targets and objectives
•Conduct extensive market research on an ongoing basis
•Attend workshops, trade shows and seminars
•Develop regional SWOT analysis
•Compile company reports

This is a senior position, reporting into the General Manager. This role will suit someone who can set strategy and is also willing to operate at the coal face.

Requirements

•Detailed knowledge of H2S risks and protection1
•15 years experience in oilfield sector in the Middle East and Gulf area
•5 years experience as Business development Manager providing H2S and safety services
•Fluent in English (spoken and written). Knowledge of Arabic is an advantage
•Excellent communication skills
•Excellent presentation skills
•Willing to reside in the UAE
•Willing to travel with no restriction
•College degree preferably in Marketing or Business (Engineering is an option)
•Leadership and managerial skills
