Business Development Manager - Marine

Our Client is renowned for design and manufacture of propellers and propulsion systems.

Their team of Architects and Engineers based in locations across the world provide exceptional design, technical and engineering expertise

An aggressive and ambitious plan to expand facilities that include growing their service division, investigating opportunities for additional products and searching for machining operations is underway.

As a result we are seeking an experienced and professional Business Development Manager with a background in Marine engineering.

Reporting to the Divisional Manager, you will be ensuring the company is best placed to support international operations, this includes consolidating and expanding operations in the Middle East and implementing processes and systems to further develop products, clients and streamline the supply chain.

Key responsibilities:
- Maintain effective communication throughout the process
- Work to deadlines as set out by company an clients requirements
- Effectively work across all functions of the business
- Oversee the launch of new products
- Produce relevant marketing material e.g. technical literature/website
- Generate monthly performance reports
- Plan and prepare presentations
- Spend a significant amount of time out of office visiting associates, suppliers, clients and attending networking events

Requirements

- Degree / Diploma in Engineering or Equivalent
- Experience in a Marine environment is vital to understand specification of products and clients needs
- Possess a strong network, knowledge and exposure to the Middle Eastern market in order to further develop business links and network
- Possess excellent skills in Business and financial planning
- Excellent skills in marketing , strategic development/implementation
- Creative thinking ability to spot new opportunities that will create growth.
- Experience in project management
- Strong network / exposure to the Middle Eastern market
