Employment: Full Time

Responsible for all new business and marketing activity the Business Development Manager will be responsible for promoting a creative brand and communications company whilst generating sales.
The successful candidate will work closely with the Management Team to generate new leads, develop sales and marketing collateral (on and offline) and work hard to support the business to meet revenue targets.

The successful person will be a creative, go getter, happy to go the extra mile when necessary and help grow the company further by pitching for new business and understanding the nature of a boutique design agency. Ideally the incumbent will be from a Sales/BD background within the advertising or marketing Industry.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

New Business Lead Generation (75%):
• Identify new opportunities for short and long term projects.
• Conduct regular sales introduction presentations to potential clients
• Record and report sales, meetings, opportunities in CRM system.
• Support the business to generate "quick win" projects when necessary to meet monthly targets.
• Generate monthly reports for Management Team on short term and long term results and forecast.
• Gain access to Client briefs and write financial proposals accordingly; gaining input and approval from the Management Team before submission.
• Research market trends and industry activity to identify best opportunities.
• Work with the Management Team to create quarterly KPI’s for sales and marketing activity, which will be used to access personal performance.
• Co-ordinate and support Client Servicing to deliver each project according to the brief, through to completion.

Marketing (25%):
• Regular content update of website, social media tools & printed sale collateral.
• Identify new suitable marketing channels to promote the business.
• Generate ideas and help implement solutions to market the business domestically and internationally.
• Attend appropriate events, conduct PR initiatives and be involved in networking situations which
• positively promote the business.
• Research and generate weekly / monthly marketing reports updating the team with useful market news, insight and ideas for new initiatives / design and brand activity.
