Employment: Full Time

My client, a multinational technology vendor based in Doha, Qatar is currently looking to recruit a Business Development Manager with experience in selling large scale complex IT services offerings. The role focuses on selling a wide range of the services portfolio including but not limited to outsourcing, infrastructure, professional, managed, consultancy, software, maintenance etc. Candidates should have at least 10 – 15 years of professional experience with at least 7 years in selling large scale Multi million dollar outsourcing deals. The role involves penetrating new clientele as well as developing and harnessing existing relationships to maximum potential.

The ideal candidate requires a solid understanding of the Product and Services portfolio. The sales process will involve analyzing and evaluating customer needs and developing a compelling sales message substantiating the services value proposition. You will work with all levels of the account, and may manage a very large pursuit team. You will also work on deals that are typically very large and require complex consultative customer proposals, and tailoring strategy and solutions to meet the needs of the customer. Requirements

You will be responsible for Business Development, leading the solution development effort, managing negotiations with the customers, define contract terms & conditions and manage the internal governance process to secure final approval for the deal.

The ideal candidate must have a proven track record in consultative sales, program/project management coupled with contract negotiation & client relationship skills. The role assists in the qualification, risk assessment of potential opportunities. The role conducts negotiations at a high level within customer organization, on such complex issues like business case development, asset acquisition, human resource transfer and financial topics. They manage the engagement plan development & proposal-writing process and relationships with client 3rd party consultants who influence the industry and the client. Candidates based in the Middle East are much preferred for this post, additionally candidates must have experience in selling services in the ME region at a very minimum.
