The RoleThe Role***Business Development Manager - Ports and Marine Terminals*** My client is a Large International EPC Provider working in the Infrastructure and Environment, Hydrocarbons, Minerals and Metals sectors across Sub-Saharan Africa. They are currently looking for Business Development Manager for their Ports and Marine Terminals Division in Cape Town, South Africa. Overview: *Customer facing - Business Development Role *Ports and Marine Terminals Sub-Saharan Africa *Location : Cape Town, South Africa *Proven (at least 5 years) Sub-Saharan Africa experience - in country positions Requirements: *A minimum of 17 years' experience in relevant industry (marine construction, marine engineering) *Of which at least 5 years' experience in marine structural design. *Of which at least 5 years' experience in bulk handling design for mineral resources (shiploaders, stacker / reclaimers, rail dumpers, stockyard layout) *Proven customer facing / BD experience *Fluent in English and French (spoken and written). Additional languages will be an asset, especially Portuguese. *At least a M.Sc. engineering degree in mechanical or (marine) structural engineering *Basic understanding of coastal engineering principles. *Travel about 30% of his/her time An attractive salary and benefits package is on offer for the successful candidate.
