Job description / Role
Charterhouse is working with a well-established travel agency in Dubai with branches throughout the UAE. Due to expansion plans our client is looking to hire an experienced Business Development Manager.
This role can be based anywhere in the UAE and is able to report to one of their branches or the corporate head office.
You will develop a strategy and execute growth plans as well as promoting the agency in the local market and at trade exhibitions to increase sales and revenue. In addition, you will work closely with Sales Managers at branch level and report directly to the General Manager.
Requirements
The successful candidate should have experience in a business development role and understand how to grow a business through different channels as well as having regional experience and excellent knowledge of the travel industry. You should also have previously worked as a Senior Sales or Business Development professional within a travel agency, however profiles from an airline background will also be considered.
