The RoleThe RoleThe Business Development Manager is to build an active and vibrant partner community, facilitating internal networking, information sharing and helping partners to promote themselves in the region Key Accountabilities: Build the on-site partner community and encourage knowledge transfer: Create and maintain a partner directory (online) and newsletter Organise events, fairs and weekly business breakfasts Conduct reviews with new partners to understand their needs, capabilities and what they are willing to share with the community Track and measure the success of the facilitation function via partner surveys and ad hoc feedback Enhance the market knowledge of on-site partners: Provide partners with latest industry research notes and reports, where appropriate Scout major events and festivals to pick up news of latest media initiatives and connect with other potential partners Provide partners with regional promotion support: Organising press conferences for key partners Setting up promotional events for the media industry and public Identifying and leveraging existing marketing and promotion channels to help the clients partners to distribute their content / services within the region Liaising with event and marketing agencies Managing the partner promotion budget |
RequirementsRequirementsTechnical / Professional Skills: Marketing communications Project management Event management Expertise / Experience: Client relationship building 3-4 years experience MENA market experience desirable Arabic speakers is desirable Qualifications Bachelor of Marketing, Business or equivalent |
