Business Development Manager
AED 42,000 per month

Our client is a corporation which designs, manufactures, markets and sells machinery and engines to customers via a worldwide dealer network. They are currently seeking a Business Development Manager.

This role will focus on growing Technology Enabled solutions with all segments of Oil & Gas customers in EAME/CIS and Asia Pacific regions. As the Business Development Manager you will be required to effectively influence end-users, dealers, suppliers, and internal decision makers.

You will have direct business development responsibilities for growing number of connected assets and subscription revenue from different levels of service including Condition Monitoring and other Equipment Management solutions.

Some Responsibilities will include:

• Identifying opportunities and selling the value of Condition Monitoring and other Product Link delivered services to secure customer approval.
• Evaluating & completing in depth commercial assessments of the customer’s site and business operations.
• Facilitating dealer buy-in and engagement to provide the services.
• Designing appropriate solutions to improve customer’s profitability.
• Participating in long-term strategy development, assist in developing and maintaining multi-year plans and objectives, and provides competitive analysis to support business planning.
• Lead management in planning major programs, new service introduction, and objectives for business unit investment for new sales growth.
• Provide support to business unit in assessing potential acquisitions.
• Willing to travel (30-40%)

Requirements

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing or Engineering
• Nine to twelve years of progressively responsible job-related experience working with dealers and customers.
• Thorough knowledge of company products and product applications, merchandising programs, and/or warranty practices and procedures.
• Broad company knowledge and strong understanding of dealer operations and direct product support experience in working with customers.
• Good human relations skills to develop a cooperative work relationship with others inside and outside the department.
• Strong leadership skills

Desired Qualifications:

• Experience working within the oil and gas industry strongly preferred.
• Experience with selling services related to equipment management solutions space.
• Familiar with company policies and procedures with a strong department background.
• Ability to build strong relationships with various stakeholders.
• Strong finance and business acumen.
