Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

An opportunity has arisen for a client here in Dubai for a Business Development Manager

Leadership and Management of the Global Sales and Account Management Team
Professional development and mentoring of the Global Sales and Account Management Team
Develop proposals and assist BD processes for the Groups related business Units
Drive new business initiatives and identify new market opportunities
Support wider Group business development objectives as required
Assist in the Proposal writing process
Undertake travel to hostile, austere and post conflict environments
Perform business development functions with an expectation that 25% of time will be Dubai based
and 75% of time will be forward based in countries of operations or interest.
Ownership of the client Opportunity Tracking system and Bid Management Portal
Management of the Bid Management and Opportunity/Major Deal Review process

Requirements

Accredited qualification in Management Administration and/or equivalent
A broad knowledge of the market place, including likely future trends that will impact upon the
commercial direction of the business
A track record of being able to pragmatically manage risk whilst maximizing opportunities
Strong leadership skills, with the ability to create a common vision, and value set that drives the
strategic objectives of the business
Confident and articulate with well-developed verbal and written communication and presentation
skills
Able to clearly explain commercial concepts at all levels and produce appropriate supporting
documentation
A key influencer externally and decision maker internally
Experience in Sales and Account Management Processes

Salary 35-40,000 AED
