Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Manage the Middle East territory for the wireless offering (present & future products), reporting to the Global Wireless Sales Leader. Will be responsible for Engineering Contractors (EPC) and Strategic accounts to ensure acceptance via projects now and work on longer term approval. Will be a member of a global team that will grow the opportunity across a STRAP period to $30M+ p.a. Designated as a Middle East and responsible for such, the role will also coordinate across regions on key accounts to ensure global vendor list approval that may require travel outside of the Middle East

Principal Responsibilities:
- Manage the territory provided, which may be changed to suit market shifts, product introduction as required by Global Wireless Sales Leader.
- Grow the Territories Business in the Wireless product sales and services
- Plan your own time in the field to maximise the opportunities.
- Meet and exceed the Sales Targets agreed as part of the AOP (Annual Operating Plan).
- Maximise GM Improvements.
- Support colleagues across all sales segments (acting as a team) to ensure out of territories sales activities take place to assist in the eventual order execution or vendor approval.
- Take part in quoting via CRM for your territory or assist those who do so on your behalf.
- Ensure the CRM tool is used and regularly updated docking with HQ at least three times per week.
- Relay project information into the CRM from FEED to EPC, liaising with colleagues worldwide to enable project pursuit to happen at Contractors out of the region.
- Maintain a record of designated EPCs activity to ensure a full pipeline is available to view.
- Liaise with the Service Team to ensure the growth of opportunities in quotes and orders from the Sales Team leading to additional Service Revenue.
- Aide Finance and Business with pursuance of final payment should it be required.
- Communicate with functional departments to ensure early warning of any issues are noted, such as and not limited to forecasting orders of magnitude or complexity that will need early planning to ensure customers want date is achieved (SIOP).
- Report Monthly on progress to Global Wireless Sales Leader, gathering competition activity, ongoing actions, sales opportunities, losses and success.
- Aid improvement of product line offerings to increase portfolio and be involved in the VOC/OVOC process.
- Expectation is to grow the business and add additional team members, starting with the employment of a local Wireless Engineering Role to undertake surveys at pre-bid and post bid that will also assist commissioning together with the Service Department
- Monitor Distributors capabilities (liaising with Portable Team member owners), providing tools for growth and assist management in the decision of capability to provide as a channel for the product line
- Approve Discount in accordance with your SEA and agree before any additional discount is elevated to the next level.
- Manage and control the spending of your expenses to the budget submitted as part of the AOP.
- Middles East as described by Honeywell Analytics and the possibility to extend that to cover other territories and regions as befits opportunities.
- Meet or surpass the Order Budget Target for Wireless Products
- Ensuring that the AOP for Sales is also met.
- To meet with the Margin benchmark
- Meeting agreed HPD Objectives and other goals as agreed throughout the year

Requirements

- Engineering Qualification of HNC or greater (Degree preferable)
- Degree in a Business or a Chemical Science
- At least 5 years selling an engineering product.
- Able to display success in either a Sales Management role or an Area Sales Management role.
- Wireless Product Knowledge
- Gas Detection Knowledge
- Portable or Fixed Gas Detection sales experience
- Understand the method of Engineering Project Pursuit.
- Suitable personality to follow Projects and Corporate accounts.
- Presence and Eloquent.
- Short and Long term thought processes.
