Job description / Role
Charterhouse is working with a successful independent branding agency. Currently operating from London, they work with clients from the telecommunications, entertainment, trading and government sectors in the Middle East. Our client is in the process of building a team in the region to focus on the growth of existing and new business and is looking to hire a Business Development Manager.
This role will involve working closely with the MD to develop new business strategy in the region and increase both the company profile and revenue in the Middle East. You will also develop new relationships and research market opportunities to penetrate. As this is a start-up role you will be accountable for setting up and maintaining a contact database.
Requirements
The successful candidate should be a mature, intelligent and articulate business professional who is established in the region and has the ability to work autonomously. Exposure to the agency space or experience of selling branding / marketing solutions would be highly beneficial. It is essential you have an understanding of report writing and are able to track and report back on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis. Strong sales professionals with other industry experience who are able to demonstrate the aptitude to learn will also be considered for this role as support for additional technical pitches will be provided by the London office.
This is an excellent opportunity offering the prospect to progress quickly. Once new accounts and business are established, this role can develop to grow a team and advance to a regional head position expeditiously.
