Business Development Manager - Honeywell Security Group

Reporting to the Country Business Leader, MENA region, the business development leader will:
- develop proper strategy to support long term business growth target, also they will coordinate with the regional marketing and sales teams to meet growth targets.
- grow Honeywell Security presence in the physical security segments and raise demand and generate awareness among key end-users, general contractors, consultants designers, developers.
- identify new consultants designers, present Honeywell Security offering, help to understand technical advantages against competition and ensures Honeywell Security is specified or helps to specify the projects together with Sales Support.

Responsibilities:
- Understand the local/regional markets - players, regulations and economics
- Understand competitive landscape and the win strategies while defining and developing market segmentation
- Help to communicate product portfolio and value of offering to big end-users and developers via face-to-face meetings, dedicated seminars and conference participation
- Communicate back to Product Management key verticals requirements and end-users needs
- Identify big end-users within the key verticals, build positive relationships and acts as ambassador of Honeywell Security, promoting the Honeywell Security offering
- Identify big general contractors and developers on the market and promote Honeywell Security offering at all levels
- Develop and maintain relationships with key, senior level, customer contacts
- Identify, win and develop key strategic accounts channels and major end users - throughout the territory/region in accordance with the companys sales strategies
- Develop and implement long term pipeline of major pursuits and leads for the sales team
- Lead directly dialogues/negotiations with key, strategic end user accounts bringing in partners to provide the solution.
- Support partners in their dialogues and negotiations with end users.
- Partnering with sales to achieve revenue and profit growth goals. Build a long term sales funnel
- Maintain updated info on long term sales opportunities
- Regular, accurate and rigorous reporting on sales funnel, delivering insights and actions to drive long term business growth

Measures of Success for his/her scope:
1. Revenue performance
2. Opportunity pipeline growth and won (value) in key verticals
3. Number of consultant designers, end-users and general contractors captured

Requirements

- University graduates preferably in electrical engineering or related field. MBA preferred
- Current knowledge of latest trends of security market
- Several years experience in sales/marketing of security products/services
- A track record of profiling & pursuing major accounts at the highest level and in initiating and closing major deals
- Work experience within big end-user in critical infrastructure protections and major physical security accounts
- Will have at least 5 years experience within Security industry in technical or sales positions, managing a network of indirect sales channels, ideally across several ME countries
- Familiarity of working within the MENA geographic and ELV markets and of building effective working relationships across diverse cultures would be useful
- Experience of developing effective customer relationships at senior levels within large national/multinational accounts
- Excellent negotiation, listening and communication skills. Experience in establishing and keeping contacts with senior executives
- Good command in English, both written and spoken. Arabic is plus, and French is desirable
