Job description / Role
Charterhouse is working with a start-up company, who is newly established in the market and is looking to acquire a global presence. With a forward thinking founder and CEO, our clients concept has developed quickly and has been well received in the market. They are now fully operational and profitable and are looking to expand their team by hiring a Business Development Manager.
You will identify new and creative ways to generate revenue for the business, initially within the UAE, expanding regionally. You will be involved in building strategic partnerships as well as negotiating contract and long terms deals. Although the business concept is already established and their network is aggressively growing through sales, this position will be purely focused on new business venture pitches and long-term relationships.
Requirements
The successful candidate should be a graduate from a highly acclaimed university. You should be ambitious and creative along with a huge amount of enthusiasm and energy. Along with this proactive and inspiring approach you should also have a commercial outlook and a business minded attitude. It is essential you have demonstrated success in a resourceful role where you have increased revenue, built new business partners and negotiated mutually beneficial contracts. Any experience and/or evidence of being comfortable in a start-up environment would be advantageous.
