The RoleThe RoleThe Organization, an integrated real estate development company and a business unit of one of the leading business groups in the UAE is seeking Business Development Managers. Responsible for the identification and implementation of strategic real estate development priorities in the GCC market and development of business alliances, for market expansion programmes. Your key responsibilities will include identifying partnership opportunities for growth and expansion of the Company's operation as per strategic plan. You will work closely with Development Managers to identify attractive opportunities for real estate development and/or land acquisition in the target market. You will also evaluate new projects and investment proposals and develop structured business cases for identified projects in consultation with heads of key departments such as Finance & Legal, Project Services and Strategy. The successful candidate will also be responsible for building a team of resources to carry out business development activities in respective markets and lead local negotiations and manage and strengthen relationships with strategic partners. In certain cases, the candidate may be required to set up the Company's operations in the region / target market - therefore a well rounded business manager with solid real estate experience is desired. RequirementsRequirementsThe ideal candidates would be graduates with master's or business experience similar to a masters degree. The candidates must have a minimum of 10-15 years experience in the real estate market within the GCC or Asia regions. Proven business development experience with large scale real estate developers will be a definitive advantage, but experienced Development Managers willing to leverage their strengths in business development are also welcome. You will also have strong communication skills in both English and Arabic (for GCC), with excellent presentation, interpersonal and negotiation skills and the ability to handle several initiatives at one time in a high-paced environment which would require extensive travel. Candidates must be able to give example of projects and developments they feel fits the above requirements. |
