Business Development Manager

Our Client is one of the worlds leading manufacturers in Propellers serving shipyards and military agencies for over 100 years.

Their product also involves high profile recreational applications

Their team of Naval Architects and Marine Engineers based in the USA, Europe and the Middle East provide exceptional design, technical and engineering expertise

They pride themselves with state of the art design software, analysis and optimizing of propellers, struts, rudders and hull design features

An aggressive and ambitious plan to expand facilities that include growing their service arm, investigating opportunities for additional products and searching for machining operations is underway.

As a result we are seeking an experienced and professional Business Development Manager, reporting to the Divisional Manager, you will be placing the company in a better position to feed the international operations

Key responsibilities:
- Build relationships and rapport with existing and potential new customers
- Maintain effective communication throughout the process
- Work to deadlines as set out by company an clients requirements
- Effectively work across all functions of the business
- Oversee the launch of new products
- Produce relevant marketing material e.g. technical literature/website
- Generate monthly performance reports
- Plan and prepare presentations
- Spend a significant amount of time out of office visiting associates, suppliers, clients and attending networking events.

Requirements

- Bachelors degree in Sales and Marketing or equivalent
- Possess excellent skills in business and financial planning
- Excellent skills in marketing , strategic development/implementation
- Creative thinking ability to spot new opportunities that will create growth.
- Experience in project management is essential.
