Job description / Role
Our client specializes in high-end barbeques and accessories providing all customers with the ultimate barbeque experience. Today, they are the world’s largest BBQ brand, and through constant innovation they now provide an extensive range of BBQ products. 18 months ago they opened a flagship office in Dubai and are now looking to recruit a Business Development Manager to develop the retailer platform in existing markets as well as expand into new markets within the GCC, Levant & Egypt region.
Key Responsibilities:
• Identify, create and develop new business opportunities with existing and new retailers in the region
• Develop the Business to Business segment in the region with point of departure in the UAE
• In conjunction with the CEO and the Operations Manager, develop future sales strategies.
• Identify sales training needs and work closely with point of sale employees giving excellent sales training
• Heavy travelling in the region to be expected
Key success factors:
• Increase retailer platform
• Increase turnover
• Ability to grow existing accounts
• In the long term ability to grow the brand in the region
Requirements
• Bachelor degree from recognized university.
• Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in a similar position.
• Experience in opening new markets in the Middle East.
• Preferably previous experience from retail/wholesale in the Middle East.
• Experience in sales with strong brand building
• Fluent in English skills
