The Role


JOB PURPOSE:
The Business Development Manager reports to the Business Development & Investment Management Director and is responsible for building up business through gaining new clients and accounts.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
• Following up new business opportunities and setting up meetings
• Planning and preparing presentations
• Establishing and maintaining working relationships
• Communicating new product developments to prospective clients
• Overseeing the development of marketing literature
• Prepares the annual Business Development Plan; as well as prepares the annual Work Plan.
• Define and follow up of yearly targets and objectives.
• Develop and implement strategies for new products and services.
• Determine new opportunities by analyzing business needs.
• Administering accounts & RFPs and writing reports
• Providing management with market feedback.
• Provide direction, guidance to the department to ensure alignment with the Company's strategies.
• Present the company product & services for business partners.
• Develop feasibility studies for proposed projects and/or partnership.
• Explore new ventures in real estate to expand company business in line with corporate strategy.
• Seek placement and attract investors to raise financing for company‘¦s projects.

COMMUNICATIONS & WORKING RELATIONSHIPS:
Internal:
• Ongoing communication with the Business development and Investment Management Director and the Placement and Investment Supervisor, Projects Department, Finance Department for proposals.
External:
• Ongoing communication with third party firms.

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS:

Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelors degree in Business related field
• Masters in Business Administration/Marketing (preferred)

Minimum Experience:
• Min 5-6 years of relevant working experience
