Employment: Full Time

Parsons Brinckerhoff are currently looking to recruit a Business Development Manager to work with clients in Qatar and other surrounding regions in the Middle East.

The role of the Business Development Manager will include:

•Developing a rapport with new clients whilst actively trying to gain new business in the region
•Maintaining relationships of current clients across the region and assisting with any issues that may arise
•Working with senior management, marketing and technical staff
•Responsible for developing business for the company, strategic planning is a key part of this job and the key aim of the role is to develop the pipeline of business coming into the company
•Work with marketing staff to ensure that prerequisites, pre-qualification or getting on a vendor list are fulfilled within a timely manner
•Enhance the company’s performance across the region
•Increase contact with key accounts and other critical decision makers at various client organizations and concentrate to bring in new work and development for the business

Requirements

Knowledge and Experience
•Minimum 7 years experience within a Business Development function
•Degree in Civil Engineering or other similar related engineering discipline
•Exceptional market knowledge in the business development field for large building and infrastructure projects
•Excellent networking skills
•Excellent communication skills, Arabic speaking preferred but not essential
•Previous experience of working as a Business Development Manager in either a consultancy or contractor environment in the Middle East region
•Familiarity with CRM systems would be an advantage
•Commercial skills to be able to deal with contractual and financial conditions
