Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Within this role, you will build the market position for this organisation within the engineering field by locating, developing, defining, negotiating, and closing business relationships.

TASKS & DUTIES

1 Develops negotiating strategies and positions by studying integration of new venture with company strategies and operations; examining risks and potentials; estimating partners' needs and goals.
2 Locates or proposes potential business deals by contacting potential partners; discovering and exploring opportunities Negotiate the terms of an agreement and closing sales.
3 Closes new business deals by coordinating requirements; developing and negotiating contracts; integrating contract requirements with business operations.
4 Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organisations.
5 Represent the company at trade exhibitions, events and demonstrations.
6 Enhances organisation reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
7 Protects organisation's value by keeping information confidential.
8 Research and build relationships with new clients.
9 Perform other related duties as required.

Requirements

JOB RELATED EXPERIENCE & KNOWLEDGE

* Minimum (2) years of experience in a similar position
* Business Development/Sales experience in any of the following industries/environments; Construction, Building Material, Industrial, Ready Mix, Precast.

EDUCATION & SKILL REQUIREMENTS

* Bachelor's degree
* Established contacts and relationships with potential customers and channel partners.
* Strong consultative selling abilities and excellent interpersonal skills with executive level customers and partners.
* Good communication, customer service and writing skills.
* Self motivated.
