Employment: Full Time

Leading multinational events company are looking for a Business Development Manager to head up their Qatar office.

Overview:

To grow the current market position by locating, developing, defining, negotiating, and closing new business relationships.

Business Development Manager Job Duties:
Produce presentations/proposals for existing clients
Manage and develop existing accounts
Identifies opportunities and creating new ideas by researching industry and related events, publications, and announcements; tracking individual contributors and decision makers.
Locates and proposes potential business deals by contacting potential clients; discovering and exploring opportunities.
Screens potential business deals for viability/genuine worth by analyzing companies, market strategies, deal requirements, potential, and financials; evaluating options; resolving internal priorities; recommending strategy and planning.
Develops negotiating strategies and positions by studying new clients and ventures with company strategies and operations; examining risks and potentials; estimating partners' needs and goals.
Writing, designing and presenting new proposals
Closes new business deals by coordinating requirements; developing and negotiating contracts; integrating contract requirements with business operations.
Protects organization's value by keeping all suppliers, costing and detailed information confidential.
Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional events and gatherings.
Enhances organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.

Requirements

5 years Events experience, (3 may be considered in exceptional candidates)
Excellent researcher
Tenacious explorer of new clients, contacts and opportunities
Excellent presentation skills
Excellent English Skills. Arabic is an advantage but not essential
Closing Skills
Prospecting Skills
Territory Management
Market Knowledge, (Qatar experience preferred, Middle East general experience essential)
Exceptional account management skills
Reporting efficiency, Data manager
Meeting Sales Goals a clear and main focus
Proposal writer/designer
