Job description / Role

A dynamic foreign government entity is focused on the promotion of international products and services into the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia targeting the Eastern Province. They provide guidance and assistance to companies entering the Saudi market and support them in growing their international business.

Based in Riyadh this rewarding but challenging role will offer the successful candidate the opportunity to apply their commercial and business development expertise to promote and grow the presence of international trade and services into Saudi Arabia.
The principal focus for this role is within the Infrastructure sector including rail, road, marine, ports and heavy industry, which represent key areas of opportunity for internationally based businesses within Saudi Arabia. Key responsibilities for this high energy interactive role will include market research and analysis, strategy development, engaging in marketing initiatives and developing a high level business network.

Business development professionals who have an innate ability to identify private and public business opportunities available in the market, have the aptitude to translate these opportunities into viable business ventures for prospective international investors and traders will be successful in this exciting and autonomous opportunity.

The successful candidate will be degree qualified in a relevant area (International Business/Economics/Marketing) with a minimum of 5 years experience in a business development or similar role. Industry knowledge in infrastructure (rail, road, construction, marine and ports), heavy industries, energy and sustainability is a must with a demonstrated track record of achieving results within a commercial environment. All applicants must have a valid driver’s licence and be fluent both in written and spoken Arabic and English.

Requirements

The successful candidate should have:

- A Bachelor's Degree in a relevant area (International Business/Economics/Marketing).

- Male candidate’s with minimum 5 years of experience in a business development or similar role.

- Industry knowledge in the Infrastructure, Construction and heavy industry sector and Sustainability with a demonstrated track record of achieving results within a commercial environment.

- Applicants must hold proof of rights of residency and employment in Saudi Arabia.

- Must have a valid driver’s licence.

- Must be fluent both in written and spoken English and Arabic.
