Company profile:
A large group of company that provides trading and manufacturing solutions and products to the water and energy sector.

The role: Business Development Manager

Main purpose of this role will be to lead the business development and marketing function by identifying and implementing business development initiatives that are consistent with the Group’s overall strategy, conducting research into industry sectors, conducting market and competitor activity analysis and identifying financial options and investment alternatives.

Reporting line: CEO

Requirements


Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration/ Marketing etc

MBA (Marketing) will be preferred

Certificate/Diploma in Marketing (CIM) will be an added advantage.

10 - 15 years experience in business development field at least 5 of which in a similar role

Business development skills including ability to effectively negotiate and close deals N

Networking and relationship building skills

Presentation, communication, influencing and negotiation skills

Leadership skills

Analytical skills

People management skills

Planning, organizing and prioritizing skills

Client / customer handling skills

Knowledge of business development processes, deals lifecycle and processes including risk management, and feasibility studies

Knowledge of local and regional markets and current business trends and opportunities
