Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Purpose: Create new business opportunities aiming in promoting and marketing the overall business trades but not limited to infrastructure, industrial events, and construction business for Speedy International Asset Service in the assigned region.

• Developing a rapport with new clients, and achieve targets of sales and provide support that will continually improve the relationship. Grow and retain existing accounts by presenting new solutions and services to clients.
• Working with mid and senior level management, marketing, and technical staff. Manage the activities of others responsible for developing business for the company. Strategic planning is a key part of this job; manager’s responsibility is to develop the pipeline of new business coming in to the company.
• Submit progress reports and ensure data is accurate.
• Track and record activity on accounts and help to close deals to meet these targets.
• Work with marketing staff to ensure that prerequisites (like pre-qualification or getting on a vendor list) are fulfilled within a timely manner.
• Present business development training and mentoring to business developers and other internal staff.
• Understand the company’s goal and purpose which will continual to enhance the company’s performance.
• Increase contact with key accounts and other critical decision makers at various client organizations and concentrate to bring in new work and development for the business.

Key Measures of Performance

• Achieve target customer visits each week.
• Achieve target enquiries / order conversion rate.
• Deliver target pricing on hire contracts and through key accounts.
• Achieve targets set for transport plus fuel recoveries.
• Support achievement of cash collection targets.

Requirements

• Position Open - 2 (UAE and Qatar Region)
• Minimum Experience: 5- 8 years’ experience in Business Development function.
• Exceptional customer knowledge and sales skills in the business development and marketing aspects in the oil and gas, Infrastructure and construction industry with ability to market Heavy Equipment Service to the Construction, Infrastructure, Industrial (Oil & Gas, Pipelines, Power & Utilities), Manufacturing and Facilities Management Sectors.
• Excellent Networking skills.
• Report writing skills.
• Familiarity in modern computer aided planning technologies and Sales Management processes.
• Techno commercial skills to be able to deal with contractual and financial conditions.
• Must hold a valid UAE Driving License.
• Desirable - Bachelors/ Diploma in Business Management.
