Job description / Role
Kingston Stanley is currently recruiting for a Business Development & Marketing Manager for a leading Law firm. Based in Dubai you will be responsible for both the sales and marketing the brand.
You will be responsible for organizing, assigning, delegating and coordinating the work of the staff to ensure department objectives are met timely and accurately. Generating a formal performance evaluation for departmental employees. Working with Human Resources department to recruit and hire support staff. Providing coaching, counseling, and discipline to departmental employees.
Acting as liaison between the global Business Development, local leadership, and office population. Operating as a marketing/business development resource to individual lawyers and local teams, as requested.
Furthermore, supporting lawyers and supervising staff in preparation of client presentation materials, new business proposals, RFP responses, and research and responsibilities including the drafting of collateral and creation of customized pitch books and PowerPoint presentations when necessary. You will also head the developing and implementing local and global business development plans, programs, and budgets in coordination with office leadership and the global Business Development team as assigned. Managing all Business Development projects for the office and/or local region, and coordinating conferences, seminars, and events in collaboration with the local and global Business Development teams.
In addition coordinating with the global Public Relations team to insure that marketing and Public Relations efforts are complementary. Working with global Business Development and Public Relations teams to ensure that significant matters are publicized internally and externally in accordance with the firm’s public relations policy and in conjunction with the firm’s internal and external public relations resources.
Requirements
Finally providing substantial support to lawyers and working with client relations staff to identify and develop new and enhance existing client relationships. Developing and maintaining in-depth knowledge of local lawyer expertise, client mix, matter experience, regional industry/trade groups and local media. Researching, communicating, and presenting the need for new products and collateral material and working with global Business Development team to implement any changes.
As the successful candidate you will come from a professional services background with a strong mix of sales and marketing. Salary on offer is 24,000 to 27,000 AED.
