Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

On behalf of our client, we are seeking an experienced Business Development Executive that is willing to work for one of the best hotel resort chains in the world. This position will be based in the beautiful city of Dubai in the United Arab Emirates.

This role will report directly to the International Marketing Operations and will be responsible for the GCC market. The main responsibilities for this role are the following;

Roles and Responsibilities:
1. To survey the region to determine appropriate marketing channels, which should include:
(i) Clubs Social and Cultural Clubs and Associations
(ii) Shopping Malls
(iii) Exhibitions and events
(iv) Corporate tie ups
2. To propose by means of a quarterly planning calendar an analysis of the feasibility to tap into niche markets (as specified by the company) on the basis of the above survey and to set time frames and deadlines as to when and how to tap into the above channels for the purpose of data generation and lead procurement.
3. To seek assistance from Operations Manager and Database Director in order to activate new tie ups and service the existing tie ups on a periodic basis.
4. To put forth a budget of the various activities to be conducted time and again and estimate the various costs involved
5. To construe a forecast of the estimated revenues to be generated from the various activities and programmes conducted and to analyze the operational profits on similar lines.
6. Time and again conduct market research analysis and feasibility analysis to:
(i) Estimate the efficacy of existing and new programmes
(ii) To understand competition in the region and have an overview of the various strategies involved in their marketing campaigns and predict an estimate of the efficiency of their campaigns
(iii) To suggest innovative ideas for channeling the product and work out a budget and an estimated forecast of the same
7. Recruitment and training:
(i) To conduct recruitment campaigns / road shows or deal with head hunters and promotional staffing companies to fulfill the staffing requirements for each campaign.
(ii) To construe a recruitment planning and forecast encompassing hiring of Exhibition Managers / Supervisors / Surveyors
(iii) In assistance with the Operations Manager and Database Director, train the staff hired for their roles and responsibilities and the other skills that they may require.
8. Reporting on a daily / weekly / monthly / quarterly / half yearly / annual basis on the various campaigns conducted in the region.
9. To meet and exceed KPIs as determined by management and also set individual targets for every team member within the region.
10. To ensure that all the standard operating procedures are adhered to and outcomes generated accordingly.

Requirements

Ideal candidates for this position should be located in Dubai and must have more than 3 years experience in the hotel industry.
