Based at Alshaya's Head Office in Kuwait, the Business Finance Manager works closely with the Business Directors to drive the annual business planning and budgeting process for the division. He ensures that the targets set within the budget are realistic, stretched, and reflect actual business potentials. He is also responsible for developing a strategic business plan for the division on 3-5 years. A Finance Business Manager monitors on-going performance to track and report achievements, highlights variances and advises Business Directors on various preventive measures, corrective actions and reinforcements, if required.

• To build qualified Annual Business Plan based on detailed analysis of previous and forecasted business performance.
• To assess performance results for accuracy and use information to interpret and build models for future performance.
• To provide financial and strategic advice to Managing Directors and Senior Management.
• To deliver feedback & coaching to division where necessary.

Requirements


Requirements


• Retail Business experience is a must
• MBA with major in Finance Preferred
• Finance graduate, Chartered Accountant or CPA essential.
• 5-7 years Management accounting or Financial Analysis experience within retails or FMCG business
• Ability to work independently
• Strong time management and organisational skills
• Strong written & verbal communication skills
• Ability to analyse date and deliver results
• Proven ability to increase category sales
• Good interpersonal/ networking skills
• Results focus
