Employment: Full Time

The Company:
Established for almost 40 years our client is one of the leading commercial banks in Bahrain, they provide commercial financial services to the local and regional market and an intelligent financial solutions to a highly customer base. They are looking to recruit a Business Group Head for their Kuwait office.

Duties & Qualifications:
To manage and control portfolio of assets & liabilities relating to Corporate Banking & Retail Banking activities of the branch with a view to maintain quality services standards, efficiency earnings of the branch, quality assets and managing customer services.
Develop the strategy of Retail Banking activities of the branch.
Supervise & manage reviewing and analyzing process before credits are recommended to Head Office
Manage the development of new business that will generate increased income and will positively impact overall profitability of the branch
Manage the analysis of the market to identify potential customers and identify suitable products to be marketed.
Develop the marketing team of the branch through coaching and guiding on technical matters as well as joint calls to customers.
Plan & Implement the process for regular calling on existing and potential customers
Ensure that the assets of the branch are adequately protected through constant evaluation of risks of individual as well as total portfolios by various sections.
Control implementation and ensure compliance with policies, procedures & Central Bank regulations.
Ensure the highest standard of service is maintained at all times through prompt and efficient services to the customers of the branch.
Assist in implementing overall Bank strategy under the branch responsibilities.
Review internal & external audit reports and ensure that deficiencies.
Review the performance of staff under supervision and provide timely candid and constructive performance feedback.
Developing appropriate talent pool to ensure adequate strength and succession planning.
Execute appropriate disciplinary measures in accordance with personnel policies and procedures.

Requirements

Qualifications & Experiences:
Minimum 7 years of experience.
Bachelor degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Managerial Finance
Professional conduct.
Required skills: Analyze data/facts, Planning, Communication, leadership, decision making.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Arabic & English.
