Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Manage key client relationships and monitor performance through F2F meetings, covering in-depth business reviews, to drive revenue and identify new business opportunities.

Key Objectives/ Accountabilities:

Work under direction of Regional Head to drive sales in order to generate increased revenue
Manage client relationships to build the business profile and drive revenues
Align agents towards meeting our goals by enabling their investment in marketing, deployment of additional resources and branches, and other required parameters
Manage multiple key clients within a market by maintaining competitive and healthy business environment
Manage pricing of the product to maximize revenues
Outline marketing and advertising strategies to build brand awareness and follow up on implementation of the activities
Focus on business in UAE, moving in to Jordan and work on expansion opportunities to other markets
Acquire own leads / accounts for business and forward to agents for incremental business
Manage leads generated by agents and external sources/ assist in conversion if required
Build solid, lasting relationships with profitable customers for superior lifetime / trade value
Manage delivery of customer relationship management during the sales process and beyond the first trade, in partnership with clients
Apply understanding of prevailing economic trends and other market factors to drive business
Communicate the company’s strategy, product USPs and build awareness with agents, existing customers, prospects and other lead sources (e.g. industry bodies)
Use robust financial and business acumen to derive value to the customer through cross-selling all products
Share leading / best practices and client trends to leverage knowledge and build the overall business

Requirements

Result driven and proven ability to exceed targets
Over 7 to 10 years of experience in a business to business sales environment (including cold calling potential customers) – telephone or field
Over 3 to 5 years sales experience in the trade finance industry, in UAE & Middle East desirable
High degree of professionalism and self-motivation combined with effective time management skills
Effective and disciplined in the administration as well as agent implementation of sales cadence and other sales tools (e.g. Sales Force)
Ability to remotely manage agents and daily business activities, along with reporting to senior management
Ability to work effectively with others in a dynamic environment across geographies / time zones
Excellent presentation skills and system knowledge, mainly in MS PowerPoint, Excel and Word
Proven skills in customer service experience
Excellent listening, sales conversion and negotiation skills
Analytical capacity and innovative problem-solving skills
Ability to travel extensively to build the business
