Business Improvement Manager - Engineering Consultancy - Dubai

The client - a global engineering consultancy with focus on the architecture, design, engineering, and construction services and $20Bn annual revenue - is looking for a Business Improvement Manager.

Following the acquisition of a number of legacy companies, the client is conducting a business transformation exercise to improve upon its existing operational processes, systems, and tools in order to deliver enhanced value for its shareholders. The Delivery Excellence team are globally responsible for ensuring the success of the business transformation initiatives, and have direct responsibility for the design, development, and implementation of the key commercial and operational processes, systems, and tools that will be used by the client.

The role of the Business Improvement Manager is to support the Delivery Excellence Director in the design, development, and implementation of the key commercial and operational processes, systems, and tools that will be used by the client. This will require a high degree of interaction with senior individuals throughout all the major business groups and geographic locations, and may also involve some international travel.

Requirements

- Bachelors degree in Business, Finance, or Accountancy.
- 3-5 years post qualification in Accountancy would be preferred e.g. ACCA, ACMA, CPA.
- Minimum of 5-10 years experience working in finance, commercial, or operations functions for a multinational engineering consultancy.

- Advanced user of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Person Specification (Personality Attributes)
- Highly analytical and logic driven
- Flexible and capable of working within a continuously changing environment.
- Ability to communicate concisely and clearly with senior management
- Strong influencing skills
- Team player who can also manage their work independently
