Employment: Full Time

Leads a team that develops and utilizes ANB’s enterprise reporting and business intelligence infrastructure. Responsible for coordinating the selection process for the business intelligence tools for end-user use in querying the database and developing reports. Once the product is selected, responsible for installation and administration of the software. Responsible for the development of reports from various databases.

Provides strategic thinking leadership for new ways of leveraging information to improve customer’s business processes. Studies reporting and business intelligence infrastructure (inputs and outputs) to evaluate effectiveness and develops new systems to improve production or workflow as required. Guides; mentors; and elevates the level of fellow team member’s skills in data warehouse and metadata repository management and development best practices.
Plans; maintains; and performs the back-end database and metadata repository design and architecture necessary for Enterprise Reporting. Designs dimensional (star schema) databases.
Reviews project requests; including reporting and business intelligence user needs; and accommodates request into a full modeling lifecycle. Develops data model and describes data elements and how they are used. Gathers and refines business requirements for the data warehouse/marts.
Works closely with users to refine logical data models to accurately reflect the business and works closely with the database administrator on physical implementations of logical design.
Functions as an ETL specialist; develops the reporting and business intelligence technical architecture and implements data marts and metadata repository. Revises corporate definition of data as defined in data dictionary or metadata repository (information about data; including name; type; structure; description; source of data item; intended use of data within system; and key words for categorizing and searching for data item descriptions) to ensure reconciliation
across all analysis/query/reporting environments. Writes physical database description; such as location; space requirements; and access method; to protect corporate data resources against unauthorized access and accidental destruction; according to computer industry standards and knowledge of data base management system. Works with system administrators on security;
data loads; and storage and performance strategies and implementations.

Requirements

5 to 8 years experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified

*Strong Reporting Tools Experience: Crystal, BusinessObjects, Cognos or Oracle
Reportwriter
*Strong Oracle–SQL, SQL performance tuning, and table partitioning experience.
*Data warehouse experience–data modeling, star schema design, metadata repository, and OLAP (On-line Analytical Processing) technologies.
*Solid ETL experience—mappings and transformations.
*Hands-on Oracle database administration experience.
*Experience with ERWIN, including reverse engineering of data models.
*Experience with Banking Systems and Processes.
*Strong planning and organization, solid analytical, problem-identification, and resolution skills are required.
*Ability to track records in entity relationship and dimensional modeling; ability to translate logical models into physical implementation.
*Strong leadership skills including planning, organization, and delegating. Commitment and motivation to do whatever it takes to get the job done right.

Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
