Employment: Full Time

A leading international distribution agent in the biotechnology and specialty chemicals industry is looking for a Business Manager, based in Nigeria. It is a fantastic and entrepreneurial opportunity with a leading player in the market in a regional management position.

Business Manager Responsibilities:
• Deliver the sales as budgeted for and provide accurate reporting.
• Establish and maintain strong relationship with customers and accounts.
• Implement sales and marketing plans.
• Communicate with Customer service to revise product sales forecast on a monthly basis to ensure adequate stock levels and avoid no delivery.
• Cooperate with Finance department to assure payments from customers are done within payment terms, improve money collection.
• Monitor competitor activity and recommend strategies for increasing market share and profitability.
• Attend product-relevant client side training.
• Provide technical support and product training for colleagues, distributors and customers; secure necessary technical support from the group.
• Participate and support in Exhibitions, workshops, seminars, and roadshows when required, prepare and carry out distributor & customer seminars where relevant and/or requested.
• Liaise with regional sales managers.
• Monitor the dispatched samples to customers and assure trials and reports are obtained.
• Monitor and interpret laboratory projects to support ongoing sales activities.

Requirements

Business Manager Requirements:
• Degree qualified in Bio-Science, Chemistry or Food Technology
• Fluent English and French speaking
• Regional market experience in Nigeria
• Technical sales experience with speciality chemicals is absolutely essential
