The Role


The Role


Al Futtaim Electronics one of the largest business houses in the Gulf. has been the sole distributor for Toshiba products in the UAE for over 31 years. Al-Futtaim Electronics - Toshiba has a wide range of products from state-of-the-art notebook computers to digital copiers, fax machines, consumer electronics including projections TVs, DVD players and home appliances.

In this role you willΒ be responsible for:

Planning:
• Provide strategic inputs for the B2B sales of IT/OA products through the regional branches and B2B channels in order to ensure that the Business objectives are met.
• Propose annual budget for Institutional (B2B) business of IT/OA products, in order to meet the objectives set for the SBU.
• Develop the go-to market strategy for all OA products in order to achieve the growth and market share objectives set for the year.
• Develop the operational plan for purchase of products from vendors, product inventory and sale of IT/OA products through the Institutional sales team across the UAE.

Sales Management:
• Operations management of Institutional & Value added reseller sales team in UAE to achieve/exceed business objectives.
• Monitor and review the sales achievement of individual sales staff in order to achieve the branch location sales targets.
• Manage and nurture Key Accounts of the business in order to ensure that long term relationships are established and growth of business is facilitated.
• Handle complex negotiations and structuring of deals to ensure the company's interests are protected at all times and to enhance sales

Risk Management:
• Pursue prudent credit management policies and practices in order to mitigate the risk of doing business across corporate/VAR channels.
• Manage institutional debtors within corporate guidelines to ensure healthy cash flows.
• Manage the inventory levels of copiers, projectors, fax machines, laptops and consumables to ensure a healthy stock profile and working capital.

Marketing:
• Responsible for the product management of IT/OA products in order to achieve product positioning, market share and year-on-year growth and brand awareness across the target audience.
• Implement the pricing of products for the Institutional segment of customers in order to ensure gross margins and net profit objectives are achieved.

To be successful in winning this role, you will be able to demonstrate:

• A degree in Business Management. Technical qualification an added advantage (BE/MCSE/CCNA).
• At least 7 years of Sales and product management experience of IT/OA products, of which at least 5 years in a managerial role.
• Knowledge of all relevant franchise products, and allied technologies,
• Good communication in languages like English, Arabic, Urdu, Hindi, etc. interpersonal skills, Management skills, good knowledge of the customer needs and technology trends, negotiating skills, selling skills, Training and coaching skills.
